Dr. LINDA LIU, MD
Integrating plastic surgery techniques with cancer surgery allows the patient to have the best cosmetic result, and often times her appearance will be significantly improved. Working in tandem with Dr. Admire also allows me to more effectively clear margins around larger tumors and offer women an alternative to mastectomy. Dr. Admire skillfully uses his aesthetic talents to resculpt the breast and restore a natural appearance . He has been an innovator in the use of prepectoral and direct to implant reconstruction for patients needing mastectomies and in the use of oncoplastic technique to prevent deformity with lumpectomy. I have partnered with Dr. Admire for more than 10 years, and I’m always impressed with his creative and innovative problem solving skills. He navigates the reconstructive process to avoid interrupting cancer treatments, and he understands the emotional challenges that these patients face. A patient consulting with Dr. Admire should have the greatest confidence that he will transform a cancer surgery into one that offers her an exceptional cosmetic result.

“Achieving optimal aesthetic results should be addressed in the initial planning of any breast cancer surgery— and not as an afterthought.”Dr. Liu integrates cutting-edge technology with attention to cosmesis for the best oncologic and aesthetic outcomes possible. She performs nipple sparing mastectomies and is a strong advocate for direct-to-implant reconstruction, when feasible, which avoids use of painful expanders.
Working closely with her plastic surgery colleagues during lumpectomies, she uses Oncoplastic technique to reshape the breast. This innovative approach allows larger tumors to be removed without mastectomy, while often enhancing a patient’s cosmetic appearance.
Dr. Liu has been voted by her peers as a “Top Doc” in PHOENIX magazine. She is board-certified and completed general surgery training at the University of Michigan. She graduated with honors from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and Princeton University.
Dr. Liu grew up outside of Washington, D.C. and enjoys art history, Japanese gardens, and the narrative behind tattoos.
