New data from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons finds that men underwent a total of 1.1 million cosmetic procedures in 2010. Among the most popular surgeries
were liposuction and facelifts.
Liposuction tops the list of most popular procedures for both men and women, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Men tend to rid themselves of sagging abdomens and love handles.
As men age, they may feel that improving their appearance would increase their career possibilities. Also, men believe that staying physically young may have a positive effect on their relationships with others.
